Event: Multi-topic FAEP Webinar


Please join the Northwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals as we welcome three exciting speakers on Friday, February 26th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  

Whitney Scheffel, Senior Scientist, Pensacola and Perdido Bays’ Estuary Program, will be providing an overview of the program’s data gathering efforts and development of a comprehensive management plan and monitoring program.
Rachel Gwin, Restoration Coordinator, Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, will be talking about some current projects which include living shorelines, seawall redemption and new plastic-free alternative options being deployed.
Michael Hopko, University of West Florida graduate student will be presenting on Soil Health in Northwest Florida: The Effects of Agricultural Land Use.
