Chasidy Fisher Hobbs is a UWF graduate with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a M.S. in Environmental Science with a coastal studies specialization. She started teaching in 2004 and has taught in the Department of Environmental Studies at UWF since then. Before teaching Ms. Hobbs worked in the environmental field in a variety of ways: Executive Director and Coastkeeper with Emerald Coastkeeper (a member of Waterkeeper Alliance), started an environmental consulting division within an existing land survey company and was owner and managing director of an environmental research firm. She also serves as Chair of the City of Pensacola’s Environmental Advisory Board.
